Division of Bioinformatics and Data Management for Research, Department of Research and Development, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, in cooperation with Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore is proud to host the international workshop on “Basic R Programing and Basic Statistics for Research (R2018). We are looking forward to this exciting workshop with participants from around the world.

The workshop will introduce R programing language for data analysis and statistical applications, including essential commands and concepts in R to the participants. The topics include an introduction to R (e.g. essential commands, basic concepts and data handling); exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing (e.g. parametric and non-parametric tests), categorical data analysis; linear regression, logistic regression and survival analysis. The participants will receive the certificate upon their completion of the workshop.

The workshop brings together a distinguished group of key note speakers that includes Prof. Teo Yik Ying, Kiesha Prem, and Tan Ken Wei from Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, Assoc. Prof. Alex R Cook from Science division, Yale NUS College, National University of Singapore, and Dumrong Mairiang from Medical Biotechnology Research Laboratory, National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Pathum Thani, Thailand.
